Even though my kids are growing up, like many parents – I still try to get a yearly photo of the kids with Santa Claus. In 2021, this is what Santa Claus looks like to me and this is old man who comes down the chimney that my kids know and love.
Well, while this is 2021 Santa Claus – he hasn’t always been portrayed as such. And we are here for it. Here are the weirdest, scariest and creepy Santa Claus photos we could find.
Enjoy and tell your kids to be thankful that they didn’t have to sit on one of these Santas’ laps.
Krampus the Scary and Weird Santa Claus
If that wasn’t weird enough, years ago I came across these scary Santa photos. I mean, who in their right mind would place a child near these weird Santa Clauses?
Do you know about Krampus? Krampus is a horned, anthropomorphic figure, in Alpine folklore, who during the Christmas season scares children who have misbehaved, assisting Santa. At least Krampus had horns. These Scary Santas are just freaky.
We are really wanting to have an intentional Christmas – keeping Christ as the center of our holiday. That being said, I still love me some Santa and the tradition of a good patron delivering joy.

I don’t know what in the world is going on with this Santa. It’s like his grandkids put glue on his face and covered it with cotton balls. The kid looks happy, so I guess that is a win?
And if you don’t look like Santa Claus but are suppose to play the role as one, I guess you could always just buy a Santa mask. (Amazon even sells them and they look much better than this weirdo!)
Hey, at least the baby is smiling so that’s a win. That isn’t always the case.
Screaming Kids
We have had our fair share of screaming kids on Santa’s lap. All year long, we tell our kids “DON’T TALK TO STRANGERS” and then come Christmas, we plop the kids on some old smelly man’s lap.
I would like to say, if I went to the mall and this weird was there – we would not be getting a Santa photo.
Of course, they are going to scream and cry. The germs alone make me freak out. So what’s better than a kid screaming on Santa’s lap? If that Santa is scary as all hell .
